thats highly doubtful, if you look at the pictures of the original pics posted in the first complaint of this thread, and compare them to the pics of the ones that other person was selling, they look exactly alike, poorly polished, again a half assed job. yea maybe he touched them with sandpaper to see if he could actually get the "brilliant polish" that was promised, but even if that is the truth, he didnt take the sandpaper to every single part, and they all look poorly polished, not just 1 or 2.

i dont know about everyone else, but i see a pattern, lots of people complaining of poorly polished parts with pics obviously showing poorly done polishing work. the only pic you provided was in a darkly lit area with a bright flash on it. it may have masked the flaws in the top, but you can clearly see some flaws in the part that the flash didnt blur out.

i'd say you're going to end up going out of business rather quickly if this is the kind of work you're doing for people when you say it will be "brilliantly polished." It already shows with how many complaints there are in this thread alone.

to save yourself and future buyers from more anguish, i'd suggest telling people that they are polished, but not a professional smooth polish you'd get by paying more somewhere else for a professional to do it. or if you really are capable of real polishing to tell them "plan on borrowing or finding a 2nd intake so i can take 3-6 weeks to do a GOOD job and polish it like its supposed to be done."

i'm posting from a neutral point of view, so dont take my posts as bashing, i'm trying to suggest ways of providing what is promised without there being issues like have been posted. i know if i wanted a polish done right i'd rather wait 6 weeks for a well done very nice looking polish then to wait 2-3 weeks for a shitty looking one.

re:polishing

I don't care if you believe it or not. I didn't work on any of your stuff and you neither ever told me that you wouldn't work on them if I work on them. I don't care, I learn from my mistakes and chose to take JDM pieces (not yours) to someone who was recommended by a builder/friends.

these parts were personally delivered to rx7 newbie if he did not like them why did he take them and not refused them if they looked so bad you would think he would refuse them [right?] he even waited untill the parts were done to pay me and this was almost a year ago .he even screwed me over on a body kit he said it was a full wide body kit come to find out it was pieaces put together to make a kit i took pics of the parts i got from him.

and i am not denying dans parts got to him like that i see the pics and the guy that was working for me admitted he had done a shitty job and he is no longer working for me and i did take care of dan i am sorry he waited so long as i told him through pm he asked for his money back and that is what i did and yes you are right when it comes to polishing it is time consuming .i dont take your post as bashing me you have every right to your opion .like i said i will admit to my wrong doings i have nothing to hide

re:

I will not argue with you on this at all. A deal was made about the bodykit in exchange for some parts. If you didn't like it, you didn't have to take it and that shitty stuff if right now on your car. So shitty bodykit that is authentic chargespeed and had the chargespeed sticker on it. Whatever.... I am not going to argue with you on it, I guess I am overly excited and usually he would give me parts in the parking lot and when I went home I called him usually back because I wasn't happy. I just gave up in him making it better. I am not arguing or bitching to get something back. I am just saying it as it appears so lets just let it go like I already did. Thanks for no thanks....

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=604936
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=604881

but......this what i un covered when i got back to the shop

now if im not mistaken this bumper does not look like the one in your post nor does the fenders .then to make it so badd you had to put the blame of this damage to these parts on a builder/friend now should i have to bring up the pm"s between you and i about these so called new body kit parts ??????

i dont know what was agreed upon by you guys for those parts, but he definitely does not say in either thread those are new parts, what were you expecting? especially for half the price of new ones, yea they may have scrapes and are dirty, but nothing that is hard to fix, plus for almost half the price of new ones there is nothing to complain about. i dont know about anyone else, but when i see a deal like that i dont expect things that look like new, but just what they are, half price used items that are still in tact, but may be dirty and scuffed some.

re:

like I said, I swallowed my losses on the deal. I said authentic fenders and I was going to clean them but didn't because it took forever to get the parts that we were trading. I am not going to discuss this further because the main reason for this thread is a description of how shitty your polishing is and not anything else.

Also gave him all the parts on good faith that I will get all my parts back. Not to mention that I am still missing a part.

I don't want this thread turning into a pissing contest about whose parts were worse than the others. That's not the point here.

Agent D seems to have his head on straight, and he is posting some good advise. By the way...Thank you, your posts seem to help keep things from flaring out of control, and you have some good insight.

This quote above is the message that I am trying to portray to Slonsho, and to everyone else...just be careful before buying, and not just from Slonsho.

Kevin T. Wyum pretty much summed it up a long time ago.

On a good note... I just recieved a message from Slonsho stating he recieved the parts I shipped back to him in the beginning of the post. He apologizes for the workmanship. He sounds pretty sincere about the apology, and it takes a big man to come forward about that.

Thank you, and I hope everyone else that has had trouble more than I (fortunately for me it wasn't too big of a deal) gets the same respect. I thank you for the honesty. That's good start to earning back the business. .

I just wish I would have did my research before I sent him $$
I got scammed and now I'm filing a claim with paypal. It seems he is using his wife's paypal account now because his probably got cancelled from too many complaints - now he is ruining his wife's name (sherry comacho). He is offering to refund my $$ and apologizing but I'm tired of it and sick of people on this forum scamming buyers.
I'm going to track him and make sure to post the truth everytime he makes a post. He won't be able to make a sale without the buyer knowing the kind of person they are dealing with. I guess he will just change his username and start over, just like all the scammers do on here but I'm not going to sit back and let him continue. I'm going to do everything in my power to get him banned.
He has wasted my time and money and now it is my turn

Rico, or whatever your real name is, I am watching you and you are not going to get away with your scamming any longer

I feel you guys as I been scammed on this forum.. and this is what I post on the other thread

We really need some sort of "iTrade" thing on this forum... And Only people who been on the forum at least 6 months could sell on the forum..

I know we always had issues on this forum, but now, I'm REALLY Hesitant about buying something from ANYONE on this forum (espeically from a newb).. And with my incident with Jason Evans aka Sonix7, I'll NEVER try to help fellow 7 owner unless they are local (well, even local guys could be shady)... Its a sad world these days...
To be honest, we really need to start having more strict rules on this forum.. Searching is pretty much useless for Newbs getting on this forum just to scam people... And also most people don't get on the Good guy bad guy until its too late!!

If Admins and Mods are wanting to help us, maybe they should start thinking about a solution where we could avoid getting scammed (because current rules don't do much).. Its a different RX7 community than when I first join in 2001... younger, less experienced, and seems like they don't give a **** about the community and only themselves..

I agree with Phil. Its getting to the point where were giving known scammers a second and third chance to redeem themselves. Thats bullshit. They screw up once....they shouldnt be allowed to sell parts on here ever again. Let them suffer the consequences....not honest rx7club members.

i sent payment for a bumper over a month ago. after 4 weeks of runaround about why it couldn't ship, while being told it shipped on tow occasions, when it actually hadn't been, i decided to just get my money back. I talked to him sunday and he told me he was sending me a money order through usps because his paypal account was frozen, even though i noticed he had an additional paypal transaction the day before he told me that. told me he would get me a tracking number, still waiting on it. i also filed a claim with paypal in case he was lying. i dont know who is right with all the other activity surrounding him, but i for one feel scammed. i think had i not asked for my money back i would have been waiting much longer and probably got a part not in the condition described. hopefully i will get my money back very soon, but i for one will never buy anything from him again. you would think that someone who wants to continue to do business on this forum would own up to his mistakes and set them right. i also will be much more cautious buying items off of the forum.
