I want people to be aware of this guy and his "business" before he tries to rip anyone else off...I'm not sure if it's intentional, but I can't imagine it's not...

Me and a few of my friends on this forum have bought parts from this guy, and the overall feeling from all of us is that he will try to rip you off!! Nobody I personally know has been happy with the parts received.

Problem #1 (smaller issue): It seems to take no less than 3 weeks from the time you send payment to this guy to get your parts. This seems to be after you question him about why it is taking so long. He doesn't mention anywhere during sale that it may take that long, when it seems to be his intent from the beginning. It may not be a big deal for some people, but it ads to the whole thing.

Problem #2 (larger issue): I finally received some polished parts after over a month. These parts looked nothing like the "example" he had in the picture on the post. Attached are pictures of the parts that I received from him that were supposed to be "brilliantly polished"...Keep in mind it is really hard to capture defects on a digital camera, they look twice as bad in real life. It looks to me like after I contacted him 3 weeks after purchasing the parts he just "polished" them quickly and shipped them out. There are dents, hatch marks, grinding marks, scratches, dimples, parts of them aren't even touched that should be(and I'm not talking about the underside), you get the idea... They look like I tried to polish them, and I am not good at it, which is why I bought them in the first place! Again I have no proof that this is what happened, but use your own judgment.

One good thing: After telling him that I was not satisfied with the parts, I gave him 2 choices...
1. Refund part of the payment so that I can get them professionally polished, or
2. Refund all payment plus shipping cost to return them to him.
He opted for the 2nd, and I received payment...thank you. The part I don't like about this situation is... I have a feeling he will try to resell the parts again, and I want people to be aware of what he is really selling.
-- On the down side of this "good thing", one of my friends had the same problem of not being satisfied with his parts (I don't want to reveal his details, so he doesn't get screwed by this post). He asked for his money back, Slonsho agreed, and after a while (I don't want to reveal the amount of time, although not short), he has still not received a refund due to what seems to be bulls#!t reasons!

Again I don't mean to bash this guy, I just want to keep the awareness up! From all the opinions and pictures I get from this guys parts, I don't get a good feeling about what he is trying to do. I will try to keep bumping this thread every so often, unless someone can make it a sticky (I don't know how).

Here's the picture of the "example of his work" on the post I bought them off of... they look nothing alike. This is a really "shady" picture to make it look nicer than it really is in my opinion.

Sorry to hear your trouble of desaling with him. He too rip me off and I'm still waiting for my intake manifold and damage parts that he suppose to ship. Atleast you got your parts, my friend waited over 4 month and still haven't got it yet.

 

I got lucky that it was somewhat resolved....or returned would be a better word. This is just another testimate to the thread...Thanks James.
I hope this thread kicks his behind into gear with some of his buyers, or some good comes out of it.

 

for one, looking at the pic i can see why you did not like the parts totally understandable ,sorry i did not get to inspect the parts before they went out my fault. no excuss

two,you recieved your refund in minutes after you brought it to my attention,like i have always garuntee if you are not satisfied i will give complete refund plus shipping

three, i still have not recieved the parts back that i refunded you in full plus shipping ,you told me they were shipped back already. do you have tracking#?

four, i did mention to everyone that i had alot of orders that came in and it was gonna take some time

five, if i did resale these parts i would make sure that the problems on them were fixed

and last but not least i do know that you and james have been doing buisness together, however that is cool your business, but becarefull who you pair up with ,[ i have already learned my lesson] and if you have a friend that is not satified all he has to do is contact me or pm me.

 

you did not get ripped off, i gave you both tracking numbers and they have been deliverd. remember james i paid for these parts to be shipped back to you ,that you wanted me to polish and sale for you. and as far as the other box i told you once you pay for the shipping or have them picked up. there here i dont want them remember it was you that tried to sell me damaged parts. we went through all of this once in the other thread and you were caught plenty of times lying. like now and as far as your friend i am not charging him to polish his parts i am doing it as a favor. and last week you said it was 3 months now its over 4 i am not entitled to do anything for free.exspeacially when you keep bashing me of it . and your still using other forum members as puppets. hopefully they will open there eyes and see what you are doing here. like i said i have all the proof that you were not ripped off i should have never of offered to help w/ polishing your parts so you could sell them. so go ahead and try to turn it around i dont care !!!!!!

i know exactly what your saying, yes of course it makes me feel bad. you would have to be a worthless person not to feel bad, and yes i try to be a good seller so in this situation the guy was not happy with his parts so i give him a full refund plus pay for the shipping for the parts to be sent back.thank you for saying i am a good guy but i can not controll who people choose to follow

One: Thank you for admitting that. However, like I said my parts aren't the only ones.

Two: They are shipped back already, ground, I wasn't going to pay for fast shipping. You only gave me enough to ship ground. And I said that I appreciated the quick refund...for me.

Three: I will get the tracking # no problem.

Four: You mentioned you had a lot of orders, AFTER, we were wondering where your parts were.

Five: I would hope so.

Last: The business that James and I have been doing together has nothing to do with this thread. Thank you for the warning, but you are warning me about the wrong person.

dan, i am sorry that you feel that way but there is nothing shady here i have and will take care of work that is not satisfied if your friend is contacting me then it is being taken care of.

 

for slonshow

1. you know how picky car people are, you should know better than to do work that is less than perfect.

having said that, it is your own fault when you lose business because of cheap or half assed work, those manifolds look like half assed work to me, like you were in a hurry and didnt care to take the time to do them correctly. in the future i'd suggest you tell the buyer that you need ample time to make sure they are polished correctly and if they are not willing to wait they can take their business elsewhere.

just my .02

just have to think of it as "would i put this on my car?" some people have higher standards, but if you have any pride in your car at all you would not do work that was sub par to what you would have on your own car.

Now these parts are used from this guy, so I can't be sure that's what they looked like when he got them, but my parts looked the same...The parts that look polished well and in good shape, are for some reason only in your pictures.

 

like i said before i did not look at the parts before they were shipped so there it is my fault no excuss but i can say the guy who worked on them was let go.if the work would have been directly from me this thread would not even be present.therefore it is my fault because while i was out of town i trusted my guy that worked for me to take care of it and he has done good work in the past but he took advantage of the situation.so therefore it bit me in the ***,and i took care of the situation as soon as i was informed.

i will fess up to my wrong doing but you using these pics as a example of my work is insulting

 

These parts were as I got them from Rico. I personally was looking for something different or maybe just a bit more polished. I decided to go ahead and buy jdm parts from fritz flyn and anyone can contact him about my purchase. Worked on the jdm parts to shave off and clean it up a bit and got Mike Smith (a friend of Steven Osley) to polish it for me. You can always contact steven on how polished they are.

Finally especially the uim went to rico twice to get it cleaned up.

If anyone wants to see what Mike Smith polished for me, you can pm stevenoz or I can take a pic and send it to you guys.

 

According to that post you sent me, newbie said he learned on some other parts from Fritz, NOT the ones he is selling from you. And I don't see how using these parts to be insulting, because they look just like the ones I recieved! What's insulting is that you would sell parts like these with the words "brilliantly polished", that's what's insulting!..It's insulting for the buyer!!

Another friend of mine received some parts where you only took pics of the better of the few parts to post on the for sale thread, instead of all the parts for sale! Which is what you should have done! And I'm not talking about polished parts (again no details).

This would be a good way to help with the time it takes for you to get the parts out, and most people would probably understand.
I know I wish I knew that it might take 3-4 weeks when I bought my parts from you, I would have planned accordingly, instead, my car sat in the garage in pieces for 3 weeks waiting for your parts so I would not have to pull the UIM and TB again to install them. Now, not only was I out a car for 2-3 weeks longer than planned, I have to plan for the car to be out of commission again to get the parts polished. Not that it's a lot of work, but it's just a hassle.

you know you worked those parts !!!! and yes the uim did come back but thats when i found out you were sanding on the parts, you told me you wanted to see if you could do it yourself and i told you i would not touch it after you already put your hands into it say how it really happened man.
