first ill tell u about the car...... street ported motor, 35/40 single, all block off plates installed, 1000cc prim. 1600cc sec. with resistors, aeromotive fpr, runnin 40 psi, supratt pump, pfc and commander pre mapped by rx7 store to support my mods.
anyways the pfc is installed and the car starts but only runs for like 5 seconds, if u step on the gas it dies, if u try to let it idle it dies.
the car runs with stock ecu but sounds like a chain saw (real ruff) shakes like hell and the exhuast is rich as hell. not sure what it is either programming, vacuum leak, or something else. also i dont have my o2 sensor hooked up will that matter? well any ides guy any ideas would help.

It will not run smoothly with a stock ecu because of the 1000cc primary injectors are flooding you out.


With the PFC, evidentially you are still mismatched with the 1000cc primaries not set up properly. You really need a datalogit to properly set up the PFC for your
injectors. Sizing, lag, overlap, and inital secondary pulse width.

You could play around with the IGL/IGT - INJ screen to quickly add or take fuel out.

 

sorry to bring up an old thread, but curious if you ever got it running and how you did it.

 

thought it was the pfc becuase it wouldnt even run with it but would start and idle with the stock ecu. sent it back to rx7 store and they checked it out on anouther car. they said it worked fine. they remapped it for what i need so just waitin to get it back. ill recheck to make sure the right wires were pulled from the harness. but if anybody has any other suggestions that would be great
