Wiring of Commander cable

Ok, I've finally learned my lesson. Don't screw with things that one shouldn't be - in this case, the PFC Commander. Wanted to explore the possibility of changing the lcd to red backlighting, and two of the wires came off the 'board in the process.

Gave me a scare when all I got was a Apexi logo with power (would not go to menu, display, etc), but finally noticed the two wires. If anybody can, can you please confirm what order the wires should be? Brown wire on the outside, and red on the inside, or the otherway around?

Thanks in advance.

n/m, it's red on the inside and brown on the outside, in case anybody runs into the same problem.

The LEDs for the buttons are tiny. I mean really tiny. A local phone mod shop did not want to touch it. I was more interested in changing the LCD screen to red though. Not worth it, I'll live with the non-matching lighting. Then again, those new SPA dual gauges look interesting... the Commander can live in the glove box.

No warranty anyways, as that it was not purchased from an authorized Apexi dealer...
