Question Wideband questions

I know you are going to say search but I did and way to many posts came up that were leading me nowhere. Maybe this is a good post to refer those that are unsure or unaware like myself.

On the techedge page it says that I can buy a prebuilt kit: "V 1.5 WB Unit - just the TE-WB 1.5 unit with data acquisition cable, NO display (see below), and NO sensor cable (see below) @ AU$260 "

Is this all I really need other than the sensor and sensor cable?

Does this come with a connector to plug it into the PFC or do I have to make it or special order that from them? (It does come with a data acquisition cable...will this work)

Does a wideband take the place of an O2 sensor? (if this is the case I can use its bung and if not do I have to add a bung in the DP)

If it does take the place of and O2 how do I splice it into the stock O2 sensor wires or do I have to?

Thanks for any help you all can give me.

Check out the UEGO at http://www.mwignitions.com/main.html.

You get the O2 sensor, cable, and control unit. The software for display on a PC or PALM can be downloaded from the site. If you have a datalogit already, then the output is connected to it.

Price is about $1200. If you ruin or burn out the sensor, a replacement one comes with a calibration chip which you insert into the control unit. Not many WBs have this feature which will provides consistant AFR readings even when the sensor is replaced.
