Exclamation What is the commander telling me?

This is a picture I took of my commander reading with the key on ignition, engine is not on.

This does not look like what I remember it used to look like before swapping engines + wiring harnesses

VTA1 = ?
VMOP = ( I eliminated the oil metering pump so this connector is disconnected)
AIRT = ( I still have my UIM off so Air Intake Temp wire is disconnected )
Fuel = What should this be at and what could be causing this to be highlighted?
02S: (Eliminated & Disconnected)
CAT: (exhaust is currently disconnected and ground is hanging)
HWL: ?
PAC: ?
CCN: ?

I decided to be un-lazy and look through the PFC Manual, answered almost all my questions in 5 minutes.

VTA1: Goes to the throttle sensor ( Still disconnected )

Fuel: This is my fuel temp sensor --- I clipped this connector off so why am I getting any type of voltage?

HWL:Exhaust Temp Warning Indicator ( All wires that connect to tranny are disconnected currently )

PAC: Port Air Control ( Still stumped by this one )

CCN: Charge Control Solenoid ( I think I this does not even exist any longer since going single but please verify this for me someone)

Looks normal to me besides having things disconnected. The only way to get a 0v reading on the commander for Fuel is to go to the PFC and find the wire on the harness and remove it or clip it.

Thats my reason for alarm. The fuel wiring has been clipped.

are you sure? has it been clipped keeping it from getting power from the PFC? or just clipped at the injector.

It was clipped at the connector so there should be no circuit which means it should be reading 0 correct?

No. if you just cut off the connector that goes into the fuel rail than it will still show 5v at the pfc. it needs to be cut from the harness at the PFC. think of it this way if you cut a tv cord and it is still plugged in, one end will have power the other will not.

ok, well not that it matters but if I wanted to eliminate the signal I would need to clip the pin?

You can just take the pin out of the harness. that should work

having the fuel temp sensor showing a voltage doesnt really effect anything. Unless you just dont like seeing a voltage there.

I'm not sure if it makes any adjustments for fuel temperature if the sensor is highlighted, but the base map will add .020 ms of fuel when the fuel temperature is 60c or above. you can change this if you have a datalogit or tune it out since its a constant voltage when the sensor is clipped or disconnected.

The RX-7 control voltages go from 0-5 vdc. Normal operating range is on the low end. If a wire/sensor is shorted out and the PFC does not blow, the voltage would be 0. An open circuit reads 5 .
