Power FC Weird Problem...Ideas Please
Weird Problem...Ideas Please
If driven hard from stop to top gear everything is fine.Boost and transition is great, pulls hard, revs smoothly to redline,no problems. But if I'm already on boost or cruising in fourth or fifth gear and I shift down to pass and floor it the car just feels really flat and doesnt pull hard at all got a bad flat spot, even the exhaust note sounds weird when this happens...weird thing is I dont have this problem if I connect the factory ECU.I had a RE Amemiya Redom ECU before the PFC and had exactly the same problem.I've reset/initialized to PFC default but no difference.Done search but did not find anything like this one.
mods:
intake,d/p,m/p,catback,stock twin seq,stock ports and injectors,Greddy smic
PFC.

The sequential boost control system has mutiple solenoids, one way valves, and vacuum and pressure tanks. If it works OK with the stock ecu and the other ecus do not work; either the non stock ecus were set up for non-seq or their setup for seq operation has also been modified and is not working because your control system parts are not working 100%.
Thanks Chuck. I was hoping you'd reply.I thought when you Initialise the PFC the
default PFC map would go back to stock sequential operation.Wonder why it goes weird with the aftermarket ECUs but good on the stock one if the system is not working 100%....I mean if the solenoids and one way valve work fine with the stock ECU then I suppose they are working fine.I'm thinking they either work or they dont regardless which ecu I use.I could be wrong.
