weird Knock sensor reading.

while driving the other day i was looking at my commander and i noticed that at idle my knock reading was just a little above a little flat line. then while driving at high way speeds or under load the reading is gone. I have no knock and when i listed to the motor while at idle it sounds fine just like a street port should. its got me wondering i just dont want to ruin my motor for something simple.

the knock bar scale on the commander is useless. Mine jumps all over in vac and little load. While my logs on my datalogit read very low. Your chasis and losse parts/suspension noise will cause false readings too.

You need to actually log your knock values using the datalogit or some type of monitoring system.

if your knock sensor isn't too noisy, you can read peak knock on the commander by pressing the up key. that can be useful after a high boost run, again if you trust your knock sensor to knock be acting crazy
