Unpluging the stock ECU

I'm installing the pfc and I don't want to skrew up the wiring. So do the connectors come out easily? I don't have any room. I see the tabs on each connector, I assume you hold them down and pull. I can hardly get a grip so any help would be nice. Just trying to be careful. Thanks

remove the stock ECU from the mounting spot. You should be able to have a little bit more room to play with. The connectors are self explanatory.

I have it off the mounts, I just wanted to know how hard to pull. There's so little room and I'm just worried how delicate the harness is. Do thet come out easy or do you have to pull really hard? I know it sounds goofy.

The plugs are kind of hard to get out of the stock ecu. I had to pry them out using a flathead screwdriver on the corners of each of the 4 plugs. They are in there tight.

Make sure the nagative cable is disconnected from the battery. Push in on the tab on the top of each plug and pry the ECU and the plug apart with the screwdriver. They will come out with slight resistance.

Thanks cblake3 but I did finally get those fers out. I pinched and pulled until my fingers were numb. Sat back thought about it, then took a butter knife, pushed on the tab and fliped them out with ease. What a nucklehead I am. Thanks again.
