Over the last couple of weeks, my PFC Commander has been showing the A'PEXi title screen only on power up. It doesn't do it all the time, just once in a while. But the car runs fine, I just can't monitor stuff or change settings. It doens't even get to the screen with the version number. I got it out of Japan in April, and installed it in July. It has been working great otherwise, except for an occassional non-zero speed when the car is stopped (the stock ECU doesn't do this). Oh, just before this started happening, I did cross paths with a deer. The car still runs fine, just cosmetic damage. It hit on the driver's side. There was barely any shock to the car itself, just a broken windshield and body damage on the driver's side.

Check your connection between the commander and the PFC.

 

I checked the connection, and it seemed ok. I went ahead and disconnected and reconnected it. We'll see if the problem crops up again.
