timing maps for non turbo 13bREW

well since my turbos were blown and winter is here, i desided to just install the power fc, and run the stock 13brew block with a cone filter and rb header to stock main cat/catback for the rest of winter/rainy seasons.

i feel confident i can tune the fuel with my wideband, but when it comes to timing i am clueless!

my guess is the power fc base timing map is probably pretty conservitive. does anyone have any maps setup for an na tune they could share, or advice??

Only for high boost. From vacuum to about 2 psi the first FD stock map and base mod are all amost identical. Base mod maps 5.07 and 5.08 have more timing at lower rpms for vacum and boost.

I don't have the PFC maps right in front of me, but try 30-35 degrees or so in the peak torque WOT area with 10 degrees split. There is an n/a performance forum you can check as well.

Rx-8's run about 30 leading under WOT from the factory, depending on rpm, with 15 split. They have 10:1 compression though and do have to preserve the cat. The factory tune is very good on that car though, retuning only picks up a small amount of horsepower.
