Target AFR for acceleration

Hi guys

I kinda got stuck in tuning proper acceleration on my FD. Whenever I step on the gas pedal in neutral, no matter what it doesnt go into boost, is it normal? And in neutral the knock will go up to 40s at 2000rpm.

When I accelerate in 2nd gear, quite often the knock level will spike at 60s which annoys me because I heard others with a proper tune could keep the knock really low like 20s all the way. So i think something still not right in my tune.

Im thinking if I am going too lean on accelleration causing the knock spike. Currently the Afr is abt 17 at idle and during accel it goes momentarily to 14 and then back to 19 when I hold the throttle steady. Should i aim for a steady 14.7 throughout acceleration and low rpm cruise? How can i really solve the knock problem? I tried retarding the timing a bit but it seems no difference at all... i also tried making it rich say afr 11.5 in accel (not in boost) but that ends up with a even more frequent knock (more frequent spike to 60s) ! oh and im living in a super hot city which i observe the intake temperature could go high up to 80'c with a triumph sensor. Wonder if the hot temp is causing the knock too...

Great if someone could shed me some light on this.
thanks guys!

Most NA engines are tuned from low to mediums 12s for power. Thus as boost rises for rotaries, AFRs must go richer for safety.

Attachment is for stock ports 13B-REW with a FP HTA GT3582R 1.06 turbo.

The map reference or boost for each P row has to be set lower than the actual boost to be run in that row. That is why my values look strange. Read my notes about it.
