How do you expect newbs to learn if you teach them the simplest of tasks?
If they can not solve simple problems, they just do not have the mechanical ability to do work and they will be forever asking.

For future reference, the Fuel and Emissions control section of the workshop manual has a diagram showing you how to remove the ECU. It's under the section "Powertrain Control Module (Engine) PCME"
You can just get in there and mess with it or you can try to see if there are any instructions in the workshop manual first.

Taught myself mechanics and electronics. My dad was not much help except for
basics. He was a farm boy who made it up the ranks to an officer in the Marines.
Trial and error is the way to self accomplishment and confidence.
You young newbs want it all given to you, and tend to be a little lazy.
Rather ask instead of trying. Use the FSM to learn.
Don't want to do the work twice? Then you better sell the car because these cars require more than that, and you will need patience.
I think you need to spend some time in the military to grow up!
