Stalling during low speed manoeuvring
The symptom -
Idle seems to be OK, idle learn done and all is smooth sitting on the driveway. Take it out for a spin & have to stop at junctions, get apparent random stalling (not really random as it happens!). Likewise when manoeuvring /parking etc.
Did the searches, got the usual relearn idle etc... Found in a couple of the posts to check the upper clutch switch, but no one came back & said "yes this fixed the problem".
The Fix -
Checked my clutch switch - yes it was broken! Checked the stalling behaviour, if the car was quickly popped into neutral, then the stall would not occur, leave the car in gear & just push in the clutch, car stalled! (As I said, it just seemed random, depending on how I approached the junction)
So, off to the dealer to get the switch (part# LA01-66-490A). On the way there, had the pain of "get it in neutral before it stalls", fitted the switch in the dealer's car park. On the way back, everything now work as it's supposed to.
The conclusion -
If you have some annoying intractable idle/stalling problem, even though you've done your idle learn, go & check your clutch switch - it could well be broken. Replace it & be happy, it worked for me.
