Chuck W.'s buddy was shooting a small 50 shot and had a map that was tuned my Ray L. that looked pretty good. It's in this section somewhere in one of the threads as a XLS file.

If you're serious about the laughing gas I would hope that you already have access to a wideband O2 sensor and know something about your temperature correction maps and how and when they work.

Even if the kit you bought is the "Ntercooler" kit that sprays down your IC, you'll still end up ingesting quite a bit.

How do you ingest it just by spraying the ic? Can it soak thru the metal or something?

I dont get it?

Spray the front of an FMIC.

If you have any kind of intake after the FMIC, it will get ingested. We have proof.

So basically its just ends up "floating" around in the engine bay and your intake ends up soaking some of it up

How did you guys test that? Using air temp sensors before the IC or soemthing like that? I know you have temp sensors all in your pipeing.

Floating is a kind term. Even on a stationary car it was "sucked" in really well. On a moving car, results may differ (I don't have access to a windtunnel...at least not a FULL size one but I would bet even money that a good percentage on our cars with hot intakes ingest any gas passing through the FMIC.

Sorry for the inconvience but Badog could you please look up the xls file about your friend. I need to take a close look at it because I don't want anything happen to the engine. Thank you

Thankyou Badog, so I see your friend motor is ported. I wonder how much of a difference between a ported and a nonported engine? Because mine is not ported and if I wanted to get it ported who can I sent it too get it done?

The cells that I mentioned in that thread need to have the negative split removed. Adjusting the trailing, such that (IGL-IGT) is a non negative numbers is the goal.

I have a general opinion on the timing differences between a ported and non-ported engine. I do not see Chuck's friend's map being tuned for a ported engine. At least not fitting into the pattern that I would expect.

so Chuck friend's map is for non-ported engine right? That mean all I have to you is copy straight from his map and change so of the IGL-IGT that you mention on the other thread. And thank you so much for your help, maybe you could stop at my restuarant and I cook you no charge.

My friends engine has a normal street port and if you compared the IGL with what is loosely called the PFC base mod set, you would see that it has less advance.

Attached is comparison of standard mod timing vs my friends.

We are also talking stock twins, not single turbo.

James,

If you're serious about N2O, do yourself a favor and get a wideband and a datalogit. Monitor the intake charge temperature variations and AFR.

The better solution is to have the map changes for only when you need them...when spraying N20. If you need help on how to do that, PM me.
