Power FC Running 2 commanders from 1 PFC unit?
Is there any problem with running 2 FC commanders off from a single PFC unit?
Anyone with enough electrical experience with the PFC to be able to decisively answer this question?
Thanks

That would be possible, but you would need a box between the PFC and the 2 Commanders that (de)multiplex the communication.
Basically the box have to do the following:
Receive query/data from Commander 1 and sent it to the PFC
Buffer query/data from Commander 2
Sent the reply from the PFC to Commander 1
Sent the buffered query/data to the PFC
Buffer query/data from Commander 1
Sent the reply from the PFC to Commander 2

I saw you just posted before I did and was hoping you would have something to say about this question.
I have very little electrical background especially in circuits, would you mind describing what this would involve in detail, and whether or not someone with my limited knowledge would be able to accomplish this.
I can solder almost anything you put in front of me so building it is not a problem; just the information to do it properly is what I need.
And just to confirm, there is no way a “Y” connector will work correct?

Basically you have to program a microcontroller. The microcontroller than works as a router/switch.
A simple Y-Connector doesn't work. That would cause either a short circuit or undetermined behavior.

So it’s a NO GO, sounds like it would be very difficult to put something like this together for me.
The purpose was because I have a extra commander and was thinking it would be tricky to build a display unit in the engine compartment reading basic engine operation.
Thanks for the help
Looking forward to your fully functional released software.
