Is a PFC tuned for a auto any different than one for a standard?

 

The Power FC is not meant for the auto cars, but will work. You will lose your hold button.

I have a 5sp/R2... the one im looking at is steve kan tuned for SMIC, intake, DP, Cat Back. Im just wondering if it would work well bbut im leary of those differences. I have a DP/CB, intakes. so it would be ok for me when i get my Front mount im thinking.

Do you have NEW/ post oct 2005 PFCs in stock?

 

You can't expect a PFC tuned on another car to work perfectly with yours. It should be close, if BOTH cars are operating correctly and have very similar mods, but you should not trust that the map is safe just because it was on someone else's car.

 

thats what i know... im just trying to decide. Thanks for the help though. I wasnt sure if the whole Automatic thing made any difference.

 

Are you talking about when the Power FC was made? I get new shipments all the time and Im sure these were made this year 06.
