Quick ? about the 4 wires that need to be cut

What would happen if I didn't cut the 4 wires that are required? What are they for anyway.

The pins are for emmissions (EGR, AWS) in the US that the Japanese RX-7's don't have. Your car may run really ruff with the pins connected. I would suggest taking the pins out as Dale suggests...
