Recently installed pfc on base mod map, all i have is k&n drop-in, dp, hf, cb. I did a search and it seems most people have a problem that is opposite of mine below (i.e., they have issue when totally lifting suddenly).

When i'm cruising in traffic and have to slightly lift on the throttle, my engine starts to stutter. Not like bucking or intense shuddering or it's going to stall or anything but more like an annoying sound...almost like the throttle plates may be flickering. (sound=shada-da-da-da-da-da-da-da) It stops if i totally lift off or i press on the gas again. It happens at whatever rpm i am cruising at and doesn't seem to matter how deep in the throttle I am, if i lift slightly i get the effect.

i checked my dashpot and it seems w/in range.

just annoying...

 

First off: with you limited mods, the base mod map is making you loose power as the timing is too conservative. If your map has not been AFR tuned, then most likely you are also running too rich.

Do a search on the moo-fart sound, this my be your problem.
