Primary Injector setups

Can anyone explain what the "injector Pulse Correction" is changing. I understand how to calculate the value, but not what it does. If i double the size of the injectors this value is 50%, implying to me that the pulse is cut in half, thus total fuel squirted in a pulse cycle has not changed ; not much good there. Is it only effecting the idle maps, i.e. putting fuel rate back to original in idle mod?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

My other question concerns base fuel pressure; our RX-7's with OEM regulator keep pressure about 36 psi however, injectors are tested and rated at 43 psi shouldn't we be setting our input flow rates at the actual for our pressure? or am I overlooking an internal correction to the maps?
