So if I look at the pricing for the fc for a complete setup, is this correct? (rough estimate pricing)

Power FC ~950
Commander ~350
Boost Control ~400
Datalogit ~300

Is this right?

Why would you need the boost control? How much boost do you want to run?
There are a few places you could get the commander and PFC for 1,100.00, if you plan on getting the datalogit, you won't really need the commander.

Yeah, I just noticed XS is selling the PFC and commander for $1197 vs The Store's $1175. Think for $20 I'd go with XS and get their tech support and base maps, for what it's worth. SR wants $1349 for theirs.
(been pricing these things myself in case you can't tell... )

I still think the commander would be nice for monitoring purposes without carrying a laptop with you all the time.

If I just want to run <13psi on stock twins, do I just use the power fc to run the stock selinoid then?

Also, any idea how many dyno tuning runs will I need to get decent performance and cruising mileage for a street port, downpipe, pettit cai, and 3" exhaust @ 12psi?

You dont need the boost kit unless you have a single turbo really. I got mine for $1050 PFC + Commander from a group buy. I am not sure about the dyno runs, I dont have that many mods to where I need a new map. You can check the map section and maybe find one already.

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't found their site before. So how did you manage to get it for $1050??? Their posted price is $1175. Did you have to do anything special or is that what they're selling them for?

On a side note, do we have to do anything special to make sure that we get the latest version of the PFC? What is the latest? Will put in a base map based on your mods?

We promote businesses that sell products as a full time job. Not ones that do it as a 2nd source of income and really dont care what they make off it.

Sorry, maybe I'm a little dense, but which site are we implying do things on the side? I agree that I don't want to risk business with them...

To be honest, after my recent first order from The Store, I started getting afraid that it was a side job. Couldn't get my multiple phone calls or emails returned and started getting scared. If you only knew how close I was to calling the credit card company! But it all worked out in the end so I'll give ya another shot!

There are a couple companies that dont sell product as a full time job. They do it part time to make extra money. RX-7 Store has been a full time job for 2 years now or since I have been open. Part of our problem is we got to big to fast and have had our share of growing pains. We are in the process of working on those by hiring employees, stocking alot more porduct and moving to a warehouse.
When people call us not everyone can get through 100% of the time, but we do make an effort to return all calls on the same day.
If there is a business you can reach 100% of the time they are either very large and have 10 people answering the phones or they are really small and dont do any business.

Yup, very understandable. I'm just glad there's businesses totally devoted to us with as few of us as there are. I mean this totally as constructive criticism, but part of what started scaring me after I didn't get my order is that I was having to call different people in different area codes which gave the impression that there wasn't actually a "store" somewhere, and email apparently goes to people's personal accounts. Just can give the wrong impression when you're getting paranoid. But like I say, it all worked out and there'll be more of my money coming your way....

I got mine off the GB that Jason had a while ago. A guy bought one and ended up wanting to put the money to suspention in his car. So he didn't open the PFC when it came then sold it.
