I have lost my faith in MSD boxes. I've seen so many go to ****. You should've seen the $700 DIS-4 box my friend bought new at a local store, that was in fact a shoddy reman unit (hot glue all over the place inside) that failed on him

thats good that you figured it all out. And now you know that much more about your car. Problems, while annoying at the time can be a good thing. I guess it all depends on how you look at it. I'm running an hks twin power which i like very well. I think i got it and the FD harness for around $400. I still recommend you get a datalogit and wideband if you dont have one already. I realize its alot of money but its well worth it for tuning and diagnosing issues.
