Power FC/Sensor Check- Quick question.

Ok about a month or so, I noticed my cars idle was a bit low and kinda running rough. So I did a compression test, and it came back good. At that point, I decided to remove the purge control solenoid, the o2 pump (Been disconected, and unplugged, So i just removed it all together.), and clip all the plugins off my wiring harness, that I no longer needed. (I'm full non-seq.) Carefull not to let the different wires touch when everything was back together. So far so good. Finished putting everything back together. Whent to start it, and the car seemed like it wanted to start, but did'nt. It would'nt infact without the help of a little extra throttle on my part. Once started it did'nt want to idle at all. I figured my car just needed to be driven a bit, so I whent out for a drive. It seemed nice and smooth until about 4k or so, and then it just coughs and sputters. I drove it for about 10 miles or so, seeing if would clear up. It did'nt. I never got into boost to much, but I did hold it around 5.5k for a couple miles to see if it would clear out afterawhile, but no such luck.

What I'm wondering is on the P-FC sensor check screen, there is the FPD, (Fuel pump operation) and FPR (Fuel pump Control). The FPD was allways swithed on, and the FPR came and whent. Does this mean I'm having Fuel pump control problems or what?

The TPS seems good, and the map sensor is plugged in/hooked up, as with all the injectors, fuel temp, water temp, etc. Any ideas? I'm realy stumpted. CJ

Well, I suppose I should tell you guys what the fix was. Well, one problem was that I completely solved a vacuum leak (unknowingly) that had been a problem for some time. This required a Idle adjustment. But this could'nt be done until I replaced my spark plugs that looked ok. They looked a little fowled but not bad. I mean, I only had about 350 miles on them max. (9s in L and T.) Bottom line is, on boost it runs extremely fat. I changed the plugs, adjusted the idle, and now the thing runs great. CJ
