Power FC Power FC problem
Power FC problem
I've recently started having an issue with my power fc, or the commander. Problem is that my commander does not get past the initial Apexi boot screen and will never get past it. Stays on the screen with the Apexi logo.
I've had it in the car since power fc first became available in the states and never seen or heard of this. Also, not sure if its related but the car will not idle, it just dies if I do not give it any gas. I did not notice anything really out of the oridinary while in gear and driving though.
Has anyone had this issue(or heard of) and had to fix it somehow? If not can you suggest some diagnostic steps?
I'm in SoCal, in the SG Valley(Arcadia), would someone be nice enough to lend me your commander to see if it works?
TIA

You need to do the logical first basic test for it: are all the connectors and Commander cable snug/tight?
Of course you should first disconnect the battery, then do the checking.

I just had this problem, did some searching and found out the most likely culprit is the brown wire inside the commander coming un-soldered.
I opened up the commander and sure enough the brown wire was disconnected! I re-soldered it and everything is good again.
