Hey I just got my Power FC w/ Commander from XS Engineering.
It's supposed to be plug and play, but the computer instructions mention cutting 4 wires. Is this correct?

I thought it was pre-programmed by XS? Can anyone give me a clue here?

Secondly, are the wires to be cut correct on the diagram? I read in other threads that the instructions were incorrect.

 

i would call them to make sure i got mine from www.srx7.com and they said DON'T cut anything. i would double check.

 

SR says " **(our Power FC plugs right in without any cutting or drilling)" because theirs is "fully modified", but I am not sure about XS. From what I have heard, you will have to cut some wires. do a search as there was a thread where someone discussed the right wires and colors to cut.

SR just takes out the pins so there is no contact with the wires you would usually cut (from what I heard).

Double checking can never hurt.
