Power FC on a fresh rebuild...

Hey all,
I recently picked up a 94, stock... the motor was on its way out. Its being rebuilt at the moment. (By Karack if you are looking for someone great in the area to do so.)
Anyways, I picked up a Power FC and Commander. Its being rebuilt with a mild street port. I wasn't sure if I would do any harm using the base maps during break in.

I have a couple other goodies I plan on putting on later after the break in period:

ASP HUGE intercooler
HKS exaust which was kindly thrown in by the previous owner. (midpipe and all.)

I have also read that the powerfc should be able to contain the boost levels on its own using the stock solenoids.. not needing that addon they sell for the powerfc. Can anyone confirm this? Or am I mistaken?

Just any general thoughts would be perfect....

Thanks,
-Brian

During engine break-in any map would be OK/SAFE as you are not supppose to get on boost. In fact they probably would be safe up to 5psi boost.

The PFC also can control boost as it is built in and adustable.
