I have a power fc on my car (jap import) with Commander.

The car arrived with the ecu /commander on it and since i've had it the back light on the commmander has not worked.

I've tried 2 other commanders of the correct spec with no joy. In the settings mode there is nothing to turn on the back light on only the contrast.
Any ideas??

 

you mean you can't see it in the dark, like an 80s Nintendo Game Boy?

are any pins busted on the connector? otherwise you may have to take the 4 screws off and look inside

 

I have checked the pins and i've checked the wires on the inside of the commander..
So i was wondering what would i need to join together on the inside of the commander that would make the light come on to over ride the problem.
