Power FC and check engine light??

Does anybody know if the Power FC uses the factory diagnostics through the check engine light? If so, does it retain the same codes used by the factory? And if not, does it have a diagnostics feature built into it? I'm taking out all the EGR, EVAP, and turbo control solenoids and lines and I want to know if I need to use resistors to prevent a check engine light with the Power FC. Thanks for the help guys.

BTW, can anyone recommend a base MAP to use with 850cc Primaries, 1600cc secondaries, and single turbo?

It does not use the check engine light, if there is a problem your exhaust overheat warning light on the center console will light up when the key is in the 'on' position. It is in the manual, just look for it and it explains it better..

So I can just cut all the vacuum solenoid wires? No need for resistors?

Thanks

Did you cut the four wires/remove the pins from the ECU plug when you installed the PFC? If not, then my understanding is they may cause a check engine light to come on after a while cause those wires go to emissions control items.
