Power FC boost control kit question

Is it possible that I'm getting min boost from the PFC with the boost control kit installed incorrectly... would I get min boost or no boost in that case. By min boost I mean 3 or so pounds of boost. I installed the POWER FC boost control kit solenoid as if it was an AVC-R solenoid. Is that correct or did I install it the wrong way?

Here's what I did:

I installed it exactly like the picture on page 48 (according to the manual)
or page 52 of 61
(if you are looking on the bottom) of the following link:

www.apexi-usa.com/productdocumentation/
electronics_savcr_ins.pdf

It is the page titled "FD3S Specific hosing diagram"... and then "AVC-R connection diagram"...

Please let me know if that is right or I should have installed it differently?!?

Thanks a bunch...
Mike

why not disconnect it, but leave it in the car, just not hooked up and see what your boost level is.

Thanks for the response... I'll give it a shot and let you know! What do you think about the set up though? did I set it up wrong?

I think the the Power FC is sending a signal to the boost controller because when I switch between sequential and non-sequential on the commander there is definately a difference... Perhaps it isn't sending enough of a signal... or I need to alter how the boost controller is set up... Do I need to replumb the hoses? If so... how should I do it?
