Power FC base maps leaner than stock ECU
I used a Power FC for awhile but never ran it at 10psi. Can someone with datalogit who is running the base maps give me a logged 10psi run (milliseconds please, or duty cycle) in 3rd or 4th gear?
I think the base maps are leaner than the stock ECU and would like to compare, but I don't have a PFC anymore so I can't get the data myself.
Maybe Chuck or someone else has come to this conclusion already. My car ran in the low 11 a:f at 10psi with only the stock ECU, the Power FC ran mid 12 a:f at 12-13psi on the same car. I wish I had measured the PFC at 10psi while I had it, but I didn't.
My reason for wondering about this is because people commonly include adding a PFC as a "reliability mod" but with no knock control and leaner mixtures, I would definitely remove it from that classification.
