If you're looking to back the pins out of the ECU connector, you don't need anything fancy. I have a set of picks from Sears that I used, but a dental pick, a straight pin, most anything that's relatively stiff and small gauge will do the trick.

You just have to get in there to push the plastic locking tab up and the connector will slide right out.

Dale, how did you take care of disconecting the 4 wires from the stock harness. I would think that removing them from the connector would be better than cutting the wires (in case you want to reverse things in the future).

I just don't want to f up the connector.

It is so easy to take the pins in the PFC with needle nose pliars and bend them until they break. For most single turbo engines, none of this is even required.

More cases of "FOTU".

Use pick from Sears as mentioned to release clip and pull connectors from OEM wire harness. Very easy and no need for cutting/braking

Hey Jeff,

The plastic throw away ones do not fit, it is a different style. The one I have is correct one they use in Mazda Factory, they sell them for about $15.00 I can get it for you. Or you can use a small paper clip.

I am interested some parts you might be able to help me with, please email me.
