Power FC PIM & Proper Voltage Reading
PIM & Proper Voltage Reading
First of all I'd like to ask what exactly is the PIM? I've heard discussion on changing it to make the car run a lot smoother and was curious as to how that works. All i know is that the one time i flipped to the PIM settings and scrolled down it scared the hell out of me when the car almost stalled. Woops.
Second, Is the PFC an accurate check on the proper voltage the alternator is putting out? I've lately been thinking that my alternator was going bad and just wanted to know if that reading is the correct one?

The PFC battery/alternator readout is accurate enough.
PIM: something like Pressure and Injector Maps. You only use option 1 (normal) or else the car goes into limp home mode! Here you control extra fuel by RPMS or/and map sensor voltage(boost). Used for quick broad range fuel changes that is permanent.

I guess so you can set-up different fuel amounts for different things you may be running (when you decide to run them), like way more boost or water/alcohol injection. I have no idea, its just a shot in the dark really.
