Power FC PFCS6 work on a series 7 FD?

PFCS6 work on a series 7 FD?

I've read the Power FC FAQ by Dale but I've read elsewhere that you can use the PFC for the 99+ FD's (PFCS6) on the 96-93 FD's. Is this true? Or were they referring to the Commander only?

I have seen pictures of both and the pin layout for the harness look very similar. Can anyone verify this?

Sorry I meant 96-98 (Series 7) NOT 93-96 (Series 6)

If your FD is a Mazda Australia delivered Series 7 then you need to use the PFC for the Series 6.

IF your FD is a Japanese Import Series 7 then yes you use the Series 8 PFC
