PFC wire cutting, necessary?

OK, i read about everything, i know which wires to cut, but let say while i installed the PFC, i remove the ACV, the EGR solenoid and the AWS solenoids and leave the connectors unplugged, i suppose it would do the same thing as cutting the wires on the ecu harness. Car is a non cali so no EGR switch.

am i right? Would that mean that if all these connectors are unplugged, i don't need to cut the wires?

and please don't tell me something like better be safe than sorry.

Thanks for you expertise guys.

I wouldn't think you would need to cut the wires if you removed the emissions they go to. Just try it. It shouldn't damage anything if you don't go into boost.

I have emission removed, so no need for wire cut at all. make sure no resistor either on those plugs.
Take a look at this thread I started: https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/hose-simplification-pfc-wire-cut-133577/

I never cut the wires as everyone states to do but I did remove all of the unnessary emission stuff and used block off plates. The car runs fine. If you want to leave in all of the emission controls then yes you do have to cut those wires.
