Just installled mine a few days ago, so I'm no authority. But nothing is highlighted, so you should be golden.
Search here for more info. I've been reading as much as possibly lately and in the words of a popular song from a few years back....the more I know, the less I understand.
I think this is one of the more popular systems here in the states. If it's not widely used in NZ, maybe consider one that is. There is also a regional forum you might give a try. ----------> https://www.rx7club.com/australia-new-zealand-forum-43/
Good luck.

Hi There,
The question is, where in the north island? Alec Bell at Kiwi-RE in Pakuranga, Auckland is very good with PFC's.
Incidentally, I just installed my PFC over the weekend. Didn't really notice any improvement over the standard computer, other than a hunting boost now (need to fine tune the boost duty cycles)
Also, looking at your pic, everything looks sweet. From a sensor point of view at least.

Hey, Sorry can't help you with places in the 'tron'. But I think that the 1 hour drive up to Auckland would be well worth it.
check out kiwi-re on the net and you will see what they are about. Coincidentally they have absolutely THE cleanest workshop I have ever seen... FWIW
Cheers
