I have a friends PFC and his turns on the fans at I think 84c an with my unit its close to 90 and still no fans also the ideling is up/down. When U plug in his ECU back in everythgin is working..How and where do I control the TEMP so the FANS can come on early...

 

you need a datalogit to specify at what temp the fans come on.

 

The oscillating idle is normal. The PFC has to 'learn' your car, for all three settings---no electrical load, electrical load, a/c on. It'll go away over time.

The Haltech install is about a 10 hour job, while the PFC install is about a 10 minute job........

 

I do not mean to thread jack but what happens if you do have ac but the compressor does not kick on? Can you just do the electric load and it be fine?
