PFC with no airpump?

hi guys i took off my airpump with the greddy pulley kit and now the car has lumpy idle and runs really rich. I was told I need a pfc to remove fuel at idle. Question is, how do you go about doing this? I can do this with the commander correct? Or will I have to have a good rotary tuner do it for me? Thanks for the help.

My airpump has been removed, but I don't have a lumpy idle.

Anyway, with the commander you can take out fuel by doing 1)a water temp correction 2)rpm correction by decreasing injector % per rpm.

I did this during the summer to help control the fuel smell at idle. I put everything back to normal this winter cause I don't want to run lean at anytime!

Also with the PFC, you turn the O2 idle control off, and you can directly adjust the fuel in the INJ cells.

Think about it. What does the O2 pump do at idle? Pump air in. Disconnect it, you have less air or potentially an overly "rich" condition. You'll need to take some fuel out at the idle cells.

Also, if you keep the O2 sensor active (mine is) force the PFC to relearn. Disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and pump the brake a few times, then re-connect the battery and start 'er up. Let 'er idle for about 20 minutes. Fiddle with the fuel for the idle cells in question (use map watch to find out what those cells are).
