PFC maps and datalogit
Last nite rx7tt95 aka "Michel" and I loaded his pfc maps into my laptop and they are available to all that wish them if you can tell me where to locate them for you all to download. Also be advised that this car has an AVC boost controller and the PFC is NOT used to control boost If you look at the settings, the boost is set at 1.35 in the pfc to avoid fuel cut. You have been WARNED

Perhaps the Forum moderator could make this or another post "sticky" where we could post our Datalogit maps and tell a bit about them? Might be helpful to have them here AND on the Datalogit home page.

Rick,
You "should" be able to attach it to a reply. Just hit the post reply button at the bottom and attach the file much like you would a .jpg image. There's a "browse" button that'll allow you to search your computer's hard drive for it.

Here's what ya do...
Ok, surely you've got winzip on your computer. Go to Explorer and find the file you want to attach. Right click on it and choose "Add to xxx.zip" (where xxx is the name of the file you clicked). Wait a couple seconds and the new zip file will appear at the bottom of the directory list. Attach that zip to a post here on the board.

Anyone get it to work? Once you have them, please ask about it before installing/trying to run the car with it. I'm fully modded, sequential, stock engine, 1300cc secondaries, SAVC-R doing the boost control, not the Power FC. So if you're using the PFC for boost control, you'll have to go into the boost settings and adjust per your taste.

Originally the PFC was tuned by SR Motorsports. However, after throwing the car on the dyno it was discovered that the car was tuned WAY too rich for whatever reason (I believe they forgot to account for the 1300cc secondaries) so I spent seven hours tuning the thing. You'll find that the "leanest" spot on the map yields about an 11.0:1, no leaner, mostly richer. I simply ran out of time. But with these maps, I put out 340 to the rear wheels and I should be skirting 11.90's, stock engine/sequentials. It was tuned for .9kg/cm2. If you notice, it gets richer at lower boost levels and VERY rich at anything over 1.1kg/cm2 to prevent grenading the engine. If I ever get my datalogit to work, I'll go back through and lean out some of the cells in the lower boost ranges. My advice, keep it rich below transition. More, if not all, engines blow below the transition (and at) than above. Rotaries accelerate much too quickly to detonate at higher rpm rates. Lugging the engine when lean will lead to massive detonation, ie. in 5th gear going up a hill at 2Krpm. Not a good thing to do. The timing tables are for 91 octane and up. Given more time on the dyno and more experience with timing tables, I see no reason I could not hit the high 350's at the same psi level. I'd be on the ragged edge however, not a comfortable place to be.
