pfc leaving injectors open?

mazda just called me and told me that my fuel is leaking because the aftermarket 'pcm' i'm using is keeping the injectors open all the time. theyre not familiar with the pfc, so i told them that instead of dishing out 1300 for a stock ecu, id like to consult someone about the one im using now (power fc). anyone know what i could change (settings or anything) to allow the injectors to close when theyre supposed to? it makes more sense to me that the injectors are leaking themselves.. these guys want to replace the pfc with the stock ecu (which i still have) but im concerned about the stress my turbo-back exhaust and open air intake will put on the stock fuel/turbo control settings.

first. . . never take a modified rx7 to the dealer. . . they wanted 15g's from me cause my engine was bad. . . they said, "if we work on the car. . . we cant give it back to you unless its in stock configuration." i told em to shove it!!!! hahaha. get the car back. . . ship the injectors off and have em "rc'ed". i highly doubt your power fc is keeping them open. did you look at the injector duty cycle selection on the commander? take a look at that and let it tell you if theyre opening/closing.

good luck,
paul

Are they upgraded injectors? There have been a large amount of problems with the 1300cc's either being stuck open or closed.

one thing everyone needs to know about the rc injectors is that when you BUY them from a shop (i.e. KDrotary) they have been on the shelf for a while. the best thing to do is get YOURS modded and IMMEDIATELY install them or keep them in a jar of marvel mystery oil or something. they dry up and wont last long if you do that. just like starting up an engine that has sat for a couple years in a junkyard.
