PFC injector question
I just put in 1300 cc secondaries...and what should the numbers for milliseconds be in the upper right hand corner of the injector settings page?
Thanks,
Sean

with the above settings on lagtime, the car leans out as soon as the secondaries kick in...which is bad...my first test drive of the 1300s was with 0 lagtime, all zeros...and it was fine...whats the problem?

I am using +.20 lagtime on my 1300's. I had a momentary lean condition as well when they were coming online, I fixed this with datalogit under settings 5 -> injector overlap.. it reads 1,2,3 as the PFC is shipped, I upped these to 5,7,9 and solved the problem. Everyone's car is different and the situation you are describing is the opposite of what I would expect, adding more lag time should richen it up by opening the pintle sooner on the injector.. unless I am completely misunderstanding how lag time works.

From what I read on the datalogit forum, the lag time is actually added across the board. So increasing the lag time is supposed to richen the mixture by that amount of milliseconds. One person claimed it had a large effect on idle AFRs when the ms that the injector is open is normally very small, and thus the lag time is a large percentage difference, and has less and less effect at higher rpm. Like mjw said, the injector overlap settings are supposed to have more to do with the transition area, although I've never really understood exactly what those numbers mean.
