Hooray For Boobies!!!
Please explain the "heat light" in more detail. Do you mean exhaust temp over heat? If so mine is broken and I can't help.
Now on the othe other issue. THe air temp sensor reading 4.99v means that the circuit is open (no connection from the air temp sensor to the ECU). So double check that the air temp sensor is plugged in and you have a connection back to the ECU. Ohm through it (getr an DMM/ohm meter and check for continuity). If you do then I would say your air temp sensor is shot.
The FSM is online somewhere. You'll need that to detemine which wire the air temp sensor is at the ECU side.
Good Luck,
Joe
