PFC on a full BP engine?

Hi, I have a full bridgeported 13B-RE engine, and I am looking for a standalone for it. I would like to run the power fc.
Has anybody tried running a power fc ona full bridgeported engine ( all 4 ports are BP)? How does it idle?

It will work.

You'll probably be running different injectors, boost sensor, and others so make appropriate changes else where also. You'll also need a full tune.

Cool, thanks for the reply:-)

I can tune it, I work at a performance shop:-) I have done many pfcs, AEMs, microtechs, autronics, etc.

But this engine will have 1000cc primaries, 1680cc secondaries, full bridgeport ( all 4 ports), and a GT42R turbo.
I really do not care if it idles rich or high, I just want an OK driveability of the whole setup. I have done 4 1680cc injectors on a Honda with a T72 and AEM EMS. It idles steady at 1400rpms. Not that bad:-) But the pfc does not provide any idle adjustments on the idle control valve.

????

You can control all aspects of idle, including under electrical load and a/c running with the PFC. Even timing. Get a datalogit.

Obviously you will need to remap all of the pressure cells to get more rows at higher boost for better tuning up there...

I have the Apexi Power FC Pro software:-)
I know how to tune the idle, I was not sure how it will work WITH FULL BRIDGEPORT. ALL 4 PORTS HAVE BRIDGES. That, and the 1000cc primaries, will make the idle hard, I know. Also, is the pfc going to control the Cosmo idle control valve? The engine is 13B-RE.

About the datalogit, I am pretty sure it does not have a table for idle control valve % opening, does it? The Power Fc learns that by itself.

The wonderous turbo bridge?!

I just wanted to say good luck. I have heard, talked to, and helped with the tuning and running of a turbo bridgeport. All of which ended up in disappointment.
We were successful in tuning pretty well with electromitive tec II, even had the idel around 850-950. (get to hear that wonderful idle lump..."blub-blub-blub") The problem (and maybe with the TEC II) was getting a smooth fuel map. With dyno runs, the horsepower curve looked more like a cardiogram with so many small peaks and valleys. We peaked at 494hp at 12lbs. with a T03/T04E with a P and Q trim. It ran "ok" as far as the tuning was concerned, but were never happy with the problematic fuel maps. So, again, I say good luck to you, and hope to find a post on here telling of your success.

Hi, I am aware of the tuning challenge, but many people have tuned them successfully.
Are you sure these peaks and valleys are not from low timing? Not enough timing is the usual reason for a jagged dyno graph. Same way on piston engines.
