Being a newbie to the PFC (less than 200 miles on mine), I'm full of questions. I have no problems running with it, and really don't intend to do much tuning, but it has shown me that I know a lot less about how my car interacts with it than I thought. (BTW, I have a '93 FD with 115K miles on it. I'm the original owner.)
I may be biting off more than I can chew, but I'd like to put together a PowerFC FAQ. I propose to essentially follow the outline of the instructions provided with the Commander, that is, sections on Monitoring, Setting, and Etc. Each section with have subsections corresponding to the items under each of those.
For Monitoring there should be a definition, what it does, what are the expected readings, and what it means to have readings outside that range. For Settings, similar, but with more in-depth information. Same for Etc.
Is this a good idea, or am I making trouble for myself? Or does it exist elsewhere? This forum may have all the info, and I'll use that as best I can, but I have not found it real helpful due to all the searching needed to get through the noise.
This will be for the PFC with Commander since I'm not into the DataLogit (yet). If someone wants to tackle that part, great.
Comments, please.
