PFC - Datalogit - Pocket PC ??
I spoke with a friend of mine over the phone and he was telling me he just purchased a Ipaq pocket pc (from Compaq). I asked him if it had Windows Excel? He told me it has Pocket Excel. Sounds good me?
Has anyone purchased one of these small PC's? Has anyone tried to see if it will work with the Datalogit?. I think this could be a nice alternative to the Laptop. Easily fits in the glovebox and will work with you home PC.
I am saving up for the Datalogit / portable PC and would appreciate any advise

Only two concerns I would have using an ipaq.
1) screen resolution (you currently need > 640x480)
2) getting a serial connector working properly
I've seen people running the haltech e6k software on their ipaq, so the serial connection is probably the easier of the two above items to over come.

I checked Compaq's website. Your right about the resolution. It said the Ipaq
was only 240-320. The Ipag comes with both a serial connector and USB port so, I am going to get the Datalogit and try my friends and see how she works. Thanks for your help!
Badog - Thanks for the preview. That looks VERY nice!!. Let us know if you get one.
