Hay guys, Have just posted this up on the datalogit usergroup so sorry for those that have already seen it.

I have a single turbo S6 FD with PFC and datalogit software. Ive never had a knock count so thought I would look into it...found there was no knock sensor installed.

I have since installed a known good knock sensor and still no knock count.

I have got the wireing colours to check I dont have the power steer sensor plug mixed up so thats next to check but I have already tried both plugs, ignition on, datalogging and tapping the block with a hammer and have no count on either plug.

Is there anything else I should check before pulling the PFC out and checking there is no break in the wireing?

 

Checked all the wireing...had the right plug...pulled the ecu out and checked continuity...all fine. Put it all back together and bingo....knock count when tapped with a hammer.....weird.

Anyway....all good now.
