PFC & A/C again
Just to let everyone know I T'd the violet wire going into the PFC into the splice of the Yellow/Black & Violet wires in the wiring harness. Now the PFC recognises that the A/C is on, but only when the fan **** is set to 1.
I went through the other fan settings and 2 & 3 don't register on the PFC at all and 4 flickers off and on.
At least now when I come to a stop I can set the fan switch to 1 and the car will idle perfectly.
I'm still working on tracing down the whole A/C issue and getting a fix.

Since installing a new engine to ECU wiring harness, my AC now works with the PFC. The new harness incorporates the connections needed for the black fan control module that was included for the cooling system recall. It thus eliminates the jumper harness which was also part of the recall.
Because of this I have removed my bypass AC control which was posted here last year.

How much are is the new harness anyway?
Question: with the new harness, and the black fan control module being used, then you can't do the fan mod anymore with the black wire (or am I messed up and you are talking about a different wire than the one behind the ECU?)
