PFC auto ignition retard

Hi all, am new in this forum but am an avid fan of PFC. I used it and find it one of the best. However I get this problem on my FC and I realised it happens to my peers' cars as well. Need some light on this. Help me if you guys can?

Whenever I go off throttle and back on it again (eg. in between gear shifts) my PFC automatically retards my ignition timing by -10 degrees, veering off my ignition map timings, for a good 1-2 seconds then goes back to normal. This leads to sluggish performance between gear shifts and it really sucks. Any encountered this before? All comments welcome!

Yes we do have lotsa varieties of food but whether it's great depends on individual tastes.

And yes you've noticed the sluggishness when you get off the gas and back? If you have the commander, set Ignition Timing to one of your monitored readings and look at your ignition timing readings when you get off the gas and back. Mine is like 20+ degrees during light gas and when I get off the gas and back to change gears, it drops to 10-13 degrees for almost 2 secs before jumping back up to 20+ degrees. By the way my ignition mapping does not have low 10 degrees at all except for idling. This problems gives me sluggishness that's unbearable.. Sigh. Hope someone can shed some light on how to get rid of this..

i think alot of it has to do with the ignition map. I would start from there and see where you are in the cell..

I feel it has nothing to do with the ignition map because I know exactly which cells I'm on when it happens and those cells dun read 10 odd degrees. Unless there's a secondary map, that the PFC falls back on when the throttle is off and back on, which can't be seen using the handheld. The way I see it, the ignition is retarded by exactly 10 degrees when it happens.. Very much like a knock sensing auto retard function only thing my engine isn't knocking..

Log the situation that you are talking about.
You do have a DL don't you?
In fact do it twice. Once with only the BASIC group and once with only the ADVANCE group.

there is only 1 set of maps and it doesn't have a factory backoff, ign retard or protection for detonation/knocking from the knock sensor.

it does however have correct to IGN based on;

water temp
air temp
battery volt
