Pfc ?

OK first off my car has a downpipe, apexi n1 exhaust, and a apexi power intake...i just got the boost gauge and a/f gauge installed...and i have been running the car without the PFC . I do realize that I need to get the PFC and will when i have the $ but for my ?'s. When i get the PFC will my gas milage get better because its got a little worse. and will my a/f gauge stop reading rich? and will my boost prob and worrying about the engine blowing up problem be gone? thanks!

no, putting a pfc in will do very little. getting it TUNED will solve all of those problems.

No, the more you mod your car the worse your gas millage will get.

Unless you have a WB O2, you will read rich. A/F guages that read off of the stock O2 sensor are worthless and will not give you an acurate reading whether you are rich or lean. Going lean is very very bad and will cause you to loose your motor.

What boost problem are you talking about? You have only specified that you have recently gotten a boost controller. This will only control your boost levels but depending on what type of problem you are experiencing, it may not fix it.

You will always run the risk of having your engine pop, no matter what you do. When it comes to your PFC, its all in the tuning. If your PFC is tuned properly then you will lessen your risk of popping your engine, if it is not tuned or improperly tuned then you will increase your risk. If you continue to mod your car and you go without increasing your fuel then you will run a much bigger risk of popping your engine.

no i dont have a boost controller right now. and the boost problem is that sometimes i get 12-15psi...i think it might just be a boost spike. and i just ordered the PFC and hopefully when i get it installed everything will be allright..
