PFC and 1600ccs from K2 WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are not high impedence as advertised...... they burned out my pfc and they will not cover it. their website says HIGH IMPEDENCE 1600cc injectors not mid or low. i installed them and now i have a computer that is broke. all i have asked is for 1/2 the cost of a new/ USED PFC.

Richard,
Would you happen to have an invoice for the injectors or a paypal
transaction record, since you paid via paypal for the fuel rail? We
have no record of selling the injectors to you. We cannot be
responsible for parts we didn't sell you.

I have only one question, did you verify the resistance of them before installing?

A volt-ohm meter is another must own tool for a SERIOUS mechanic and for doing your own work on your car.

Even if you had someone else install them, a resistance
test would have taken less then 5 minutes. Ultimately it comes down to you on this one.

Take this as a learning experince and move forward with more knowledge.

If he advertised them as high impedience and they weren't than you need to take his *** to court. This is absolutly his fault. He supplied you with false information leading you to believe that the injectors would work perfectly with your ecu.

i disagree, chuck. the company advertised what the injectors are. . . and then admitted that it was misleading. then told him, "screw you". on any case, regardless of store policy. . . if a store sells a product in that sort of misleading way they should be held accountable.

how many people would buy injectors from a SUPPOSED reputable shop and second guess them. THEY are the ones telling him what they are. THEY are at fault. they are also incorrect about the applications of the power fc. i know that if i bought a set of injectors from them. . . or gotham, or rx7store, or RP, or whoever BEFORE reading this thread i would have just tossed em in. . . cause i bought what they had advertised.

they did him wrong. . . go get a lawyer.

he admitted --in writing-- that it was misleading.

sounds like you got a sure win in small claims court.
