Opinions of my ignition map...

Hey guys ive been doing some light tuning on my car, but have been trying to keep it relatively conservative as ive been doing street tuning. I can handle fuel tuning just fine, but im a little hesitant when it comes to IGL. Ive decided to use a 15 split in the main boost areas, and lowered some in other areas. Ive read all the guides i could find (esp wargasms) and read all of chucks and steves posts that i could find. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

mods: t04e single, 550/1600 inj, larger/agressive street port (judge ito port), twin power, and all the support. rest of mods are in sig.

change txt to dat.

Settings 5:

Injector Overlapp Settings are too small.
Pri/Sec Transition (%) too large.
Sec Transition (ms) too large.
*****************************************
Settings 3:

If you are using the stock map sensor as you did not mention this; your Map Reference Boost goes beyong what the stock one can do. 21900 is about maxed between 17.5 and 18psi boost.
******************************************
Split:

P11 - P14, N4 - N9 too much split.
*******************************************
IGL:

N8 - N16 too much timing.
*******************************************
This is based of my stock intake/mild exhaust port GT35R tunned from idle through 15.5psi on 92 octane in temperatures from 15F to 100F in Houston.

I will not comment on the Air Temp vs Injector map as you have to tune across seasonal conditions to do this unless you move your air temp sensor to the IC outlet or throttle body elbow and use someone's who have actually done this.
This table will be only correct for the day you run your final AFR tests if you do not do it across seasons.

Ok so heres a summary of my changes:

Secondary transition: using the forumla (1.500ms) * (850/ new secondary size (1680), i arrived at .7589, which fcedit rounded to .760

Pri/Sec transition %: Replaced larger value with 30%. It is said that the actual value will be approximately 8% higher so i may bring this down once i get my wideband back from innovate ill start tuning it again. Ill adjust the values to smooth it out.

Injector overlap- theres a few values running around on the forum. stock is 321, the common values are 7-7-(3-5), I chose 7-7-5 just to be on the richer side, again ill tune these to suit.

Map Reference: Im running the stock map. Changed my map ref #20 to 21900, 8000 and smoothed out the rest of the values to match the line. I probably need some more help with this one. The fcedit manual didnt help me much either.

Split: smoothed out and reduced split in the P11 - P14, N4 - N9 as well as surrounding areas.

IGL: took some timing out and smoothed it out a lil.

Overall more work tomorrow, but here is my progress.
